Accountants for union locals.
Member dues, per-capita remittances, rotating executives: a local's treasury is above all a matter of trust. We help executives (whatever the affiliation) deliver impeccable accounts, year after year.
What executives entrust to us
Accountability to members
Financial statements presented at assembly, periodic reports to the executive, clear answers to members' questions. Transparency isn't a burden when the books are kept for it.
Compliance with bylaws and the central
Annual audit or review per your bylaws, reports required by your central body, per-capita remittances reconciled to the last dollar of dues. Obligations are tracked, not discovered.
Controls that protect everyone
Dual signatures, separation of duties, expense and reimbursement policies: simple controls that protect members' funds, and the volunteer treasurer too.
What the engagement can include
- Bookkeeping for dues, remittances and expenses
- Annual financial statements, audit or review per your bylaws

FAQ · union locals
Executive questions
Our bylaws require an annual audit. Do you do that?
Yes: our CPA auditors perform audits and review engagements for organizations of all sizes. We align the calendar with your general assembly so the statements are ready, explained and adoptable on the night.
Our treasurer just changed. Where do we start?
With a structured handover: account status, banking authorizations and a complete file transfer. The new treasurer leaves with a clear picture, and is never on their own afterwards.
Do we have to file tax returns?
Labour organizations are generally tax-exempt, but information returns may be required depending on your situation (investment income, assets, structure). We assess your obligations and file what must be filed: no more, no less.
